The High Sea Wind offshore wind farm is a 1.28 GW bottom-fixed offshore wind project proposed for the Gippsland Offshore Wind Zone off the coast of Victoria.
The licence for the project applies to an area of 150 square kilometres.
The High Seas offshore wind farm is a 2.5 GW bottom-fixed offshore wind project proposed for the Gippsland Offshore Wind Zone off the coast of Victoria.
Ørsted has proposed the Ørsted Offshore Australia 1 (Gippsland 01) project, a 2.8 Gigawatt offshore wind farm to be located in the Gippsland Offshore Wind Zone off the coast of Victoria.
The licence for the project applies to an area of 700 square kilometres. The project wil be located 56 - 100 kilometres off the shore off Gippsland.
The Kut-Wut Brataualung offshore wind farm is a 2.2 GW offshore wind project proposed for the Gippsland Offshore Wind Zone off the coast of Victoria.
The feasibility licence was granted for a 689 kilometre squared area located 45 kilometres fromt he southern-most tip of Wilsons Promontory.
Blue Mackerel North is a proposed one GW offshore wind project to be located in the Gippsland Offshore Wind Zone.
The project is being developed by Parkwind, a JERA company.
The Central-West Orana Renewable Energy Zone (REZ) is the first REZ established by the NSW Government. It will cover is approximately 20,000 square kilometres and will be located between Wellington, Dunnedo and Merriwa in NSW.
The REZ will initially include three energy hubs with potential for a fourth. It has an intended network capacity of six gigawatts by 2038.
The WA Government has proposed construction of a new desalination plant to be delivered by WA Water Corporation. The desalination plant will be located in Alkimos, north of Perth and adjacent to an existing wastewater treatment plant. The full scope of the project would be delivered in two stages, with only the 50 billion litre stage one currently confirmed.
Included in the scope of Stage One is:
- desalination plant with a 50 billion litre annual capacity
- ocean intake pipeline below the seabed
- an ocean discharge pipeline below the seabed to transport brine from the plant
- a 34-kilometre pipeline to transport drinking water to Wanneroo Reservoir
WA Water Corporation is expected to secure a Power Purchase Agreement for up to 400 megawatts of renewable wind energy to power the Alkimos Seatwater Desalination Plant, as well as its existing desalination plant at Kwinana and Binningup.
The Bunbury Regional Hospital Redevelopment scope of works includes delivery of:
- an expanded emergency department
- additional mental health facilities
- a training, education and research centre
- expanded maternity, birthing, and neonatal services
- increased operating theatre capacity
- additional medical and intensive care beds
- additional parking, and
- digital and supporting infrastructure.
